“Dress with conviction. Shop with impact.” That’s how RIISE’s motto goes. It perfectly encapsulates the brand’s commitment to high-quality products and, more importantly, sustainability. As a lifestyle brand, it is integral to be a little bit different and possess something that only your brand can offer, and even more so, to be true to words. So RIISE, a brand that is dedicated to exceeding expectations in quality and design, has become a haven for those who look for more sustainable fashion, home, and beauty options without compromising their own style and taste.

RIISE is home to a variety of global brands that include clothing labels, living essential brands, and skincare lines, all of which are carefully selected with sustainability and quality in mind. In order to make sure that every single brand they represent in store has the same passion and dedication to only providing products that have people and the planet in mind, they created a system to determine which brands reach the standards—which also helps their customers make decisions more easily.

That also goes for the packaging they use for their products, so they chose to partner with noissue for it. RIISE’s packaging suite includes a variety of products that fit one or many sustainable frameworks—compostable, made with recycled materials, and recyclable—at once. Not only that, their packaging essentials ensure that each package reflects RIISE as a brand: stylish, chic, and timeless. An absolutely enigmatic pair that will make any customer feel special. Tell us a bit about your brand, introduce it to the world!

RIISE curates an edit of fashion, lifestyle, homeware and beauty products that are made for you and the planet. We’re here to rewrite the climate change narrative and shift the image of “going green”, because being a responsible consumer shouldn’t come at the expense of style or taste. RIISE showcases the beautiful objects and inspiring brands offering a fresh take on what it means to be environmentally friendly. RIISE cultivates a space where products that exist at the intersection of impact and aesthetics are celebrated, seen, and, rightfully so, positioned as the new objects of desire.

Sara Bell, the founder of RIISE

An unwavering commitment to transparency and sustainability is at the heart of RIISE. Every single brand and item featured online and in our store has been individually evaluated to ensure everything we sell is driving meaningful change and taking accountability for its environmental impact. To help navigate the gray areas within the vast and complex realm of sustainability, we’ve created a sustainability framework to review all RIISE products in relation to their action and impact. Created by regenerative fashion advocate and author of Sundressed: Natural Fibers and the Future of Fashion, Lucianne Tonti, our sustainability framework holds us accountable to make sure the brands and products we recommend to consumers are driving meaningful change.

Tell us about the design for your packaging and how you’re using them?

The RIISE logo is the star of the show in the RIISE packaging suite. We’ve had a lot of fun playing with the lines and curves of the logo—for example stretching it out to create the pattern you see on our tissue paper and some of our cards.

From noissue we currently use circle stickers, tissue paper, swing tags, and the A6 cards. However we’re soon to roll out a few more elements so stay tuned!

What made noissue a good fit for your packaging?

noissue was a no brainer choice for RIISE as it ticked all our sustainability and quality requirements whilst providing flexible quantities. Particularly in the early days of RIISE this was essential as we did not want to ever be in a position where we were creating waste.

As an e-commerce business, our packaging has always been of great importance to us because until recently it was the only physical interaction consumers have with our brand (in the last month we’ve opened a pop-up store in Sydney, Australia). The unboxing experience allows us to have a direct touchpoint with the consumer and ensures they have an elevated and positive experience with RIISE. It’s an opportunity for RIISE to show our values in the careful consideration and selection of packaging materials.
