"I knew I found something I would love in those first few stitches." Amanda, founder

"My name is Amanda and I am a Canadian gal living in Australia! I am originally from the West Coast of British Columbia but ventured to Australia to work with a non-profit back when I was 19. Australia captured my heart as did a young Aussie ; - ) My husband and I, along with our 5-year-old daughter, now reside on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland where we run our own small businesses."

"I started to learn Embroidery back in 2014, as my mother actually taught me my first stitches much the same way her mother taught her. Once I started I just couldn’t stop. I have always been ‘crafty’ but I knew I found something I would love in those first few stitches. I haven’t stopped creating and designing since."

"All the designs I sell, whether for Embroidery kits of PDF patterns, are created by myself or in collaboration with another artist. They are all original designs, which is very important to me. The “accessories” or tools for stitching that I sell are all selected very carefully to ensure that we sell quality products that will last and serve the customer well!"

"Sustainability is very new for my business, it’s really just been since finding noissue that I have started making some changes. I am of course using their tissue paper and compostable mailers for all my shipping needs. The next step for me is to find a recyclable or greener option for the cello bags I use for my embroidery kits!"

"The design for my custom tissue paper actually came from an Embroidered design that I created recently called “Coral Breeze”. The design is now a kit & pattern in my shop. I thought it would look amazing as a repeat pattern for the tissue, and it turned out beautifully!"

"All our orders are hand-packaged by me. I go through the orders one by one, laying them out on the tissue paper and wrapping them. I like to include a business card that has room for a personal note. I have recently started using noissue’s compostable mailers for shipping and taking small steps to a more “green” way of packaging!"

"It’s funny because noissue chose me in a way! I entered one of their Giveaway’s recently on Instagram and won, which was AMAZING! I am totally converted, their products surpass anything I have used so far with my business and I will definitely be back for more!"
